Sunday, August 24 - all K-6th grade parents are invited to the gym during the Sunday School hour for a presentation by your children.
Sunday, September 7 - Backpack Blessing, Children’s Ministry is celebrating and blessing the beginning of another school year in a whole new way. Kids grade PreK-6th grade bring your backpacks or lunch boxes to Sunday School for a special blessing and dedication. All parents and children are invited to the gym to take part in this dedication to God’s glory! Toddlers and parents are invited to come watch the blessing. A short parent meeting will take place at the end of the dedication.
Saturday October 4 - The FMC Ecuador Mission team will hold its annual For His Childrenî Benefit Auction at the Sprunger Auction Building in Kidron at 10 a.m. The proceeds will be used to help support "For His Children" orphanage and upcoming mission trip scheduled for January 9th thru 20th, 2009. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Also if you have any items you can donate for the auction (crafts, gift baskets, services, new items, antiques, etc...) please contact Roger Yoder. Thank you for your support.
Each week, cds of the previous Sunday’s sermon are available in the foyer.
Junior High News
Welcome 7th Graders!!! Wednesday evening classes begin September 10 from 7-8:15pm.

Higher Grounds CafÈ News
There will be no Sunday evening coffee shop in August. The cafÈ is open Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:10. Through August, all proceeds will go to Sika & Rita Ulutoa, missionaries serving in Montana.
