Welcome! We're glad you're interested in finding out more about us.

Here at Fairlawn we strive to provide an atmosphere of love and encouragement in a relaxed setting. We pray that everyone who worships with us will leave refreshed and challenged to grow in Christ and serve Him in every aspect of life.

WHERE we come from…..

The Fairlawn Mennonite Church had it's beginnings in an old Methodist Church building in the village of Maysville. It was called Maysville Church until 1964, when the name was changed to Fairlawn. The church was organized in 1948 through the vision of a few lay brethren from the Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Six families attended the first service. By 1960 the membership had grown to 140. As the church continued to grow, the need for larger & better facilities grew also, since the first church had no basement & no indoor or outdoor plumbing. In 1953 land was purchased on S. Carr Rd. and construction began on a new church building. The church continued to grow and in 1991 a fellowship hall was added.

WHO we are today….

Although we are proud of our history and rich heritage, we do not focus on the past but instead look to today and the exciting future.
Our pastors are Pastor Duane Detweiler and Youth Pastor Mark Sarver.
