Family Fun Night is the grande finale of Explorers Bible Camp! Volunteers (16 & older) are needed to supervise activities, serve food, & welcome children & families for an evening of fun, fellowship, & celebration! Activity supervision & serving food positions are 30-minute time slots. Please consider serving to help make this special outreach event a success! Sign up below! 

All Breakouts (children-adult) will pause for the month of July. D-Groups are encouraged to meet in other settings. The nursery will be open but unstaffed. All Breakouts will resume on August 9. Children’s Ministry will start on August 9 with grade promotion. 

Church Family, please join us in praying for our Explorers Bible Camp which starts July 12. Please also pray for our Volunteer Training Night on Thursday, July 9, from 6:30–7:30pm, held in the Teen Center, asking God to unite, equip, & encourage our team as we prepare to serve. Join us for our next Fairlawn Worldwide on July 12th as we hear powerful stories and updates from the team that recently traveled to India. The group will share their experiences, how they saw God at work, and the impact of partnering with believers serving on the ground there. We will also hear from Vincent & Karthika, leaders of the Global Family Daughter Project, a ministry dedicated to rescuing & restoring women & girls affected by human trafficking. Our India team had the opportunity to serve alongside this ministry during their time in India, and you will be encouraged & challenged by what God is doing through their work. Come hear firsthand how God is moving across the world, and how we can be partnering in His mission.

FMC is excited to host our annual Explorers Bible Camp for all children who have completed grades K through 5th. The week concludes with our “Family Fun Night” on Thursday, July 16 (parent or guardian must attend with their child). If volunteering, only FMC attenders can register children newborn through 5-year-olds. All children who pre-register by July 1st receive a free T-shirt! Would you prayerfully consider serving in FMC Kids Sunday School or Nursery this fall? We are looking for regular Fairlawn attenders who have a heart for helping children know, love, grow, and show Jesus Christ.

Our greatest need is for Small Group Leaders (Preschool–5th Grade) who build relationships with children, model Christ, and help them develop a lifelong love for God's Word. All lessons and materials are prepared for you, and volunteers typically serve in one breakout session every other week during a four-month commitment, with flexible scheduling.

We also have an important need for Nursery Volunteers to lovingly care for our youngest children. Nursery volunteers are encouraged to serve 2–3 times within a three-month period in a single breakout session.

A pastor will lead this class to give basic information about Fairlawn & give space for questions to be answered. No sign up is required and everyone is welcome to  attend! 

Remy and Rachel Perrin will be serving with AIM Air in Nairobi, Kenya. They have reach 100% for their funding! Praise be to God! As a pilot, Remy will be using aviation to serve and support missionaries in remote areas in order to see Christ centered churches among all African peoples.

A core value we have here at Fairlawn is Gospel-Rooted Families, passing the faith on to the next generation. We love the children we have here. Child dedication is a great way to communicate to the church that parents are committing to discipling their children and desire the church to come along side them in the task. As a way to commemorate that time, we will give each child being dedicated a blanket from the church. 

There is an additional private nursing mother's room located in the nursery.
